Who are we behind sistersb?

We are Samantha and Jaklyn Barbarotta, much more often known as Sam and Jakie. We are cousins, even though our business name is “sisters” B. We have been asked our whole lives if we are sisters, which encouraged us to just run with it. So, meet the “sisters” behind SistersBPhotography.

Jakie is a dedicated mom of three who always puts her kids ahead of all else. She is also a nursing student with one semester left in nursing school! Jakie developed a passion for photography in her teenage years when she was known for always being the friend at the party with her digital camera, capturing moments and memories. You can often find Jakie on the sidelines of her own children’s sporting events capturing photos.

Sam is a physical education teacher. She loves sports, but has always had a passion for photography as well. Sam had a friend (Kelly) ask her to shoot a wedding in 2016 and the rest is truly, history. Sam doesn’t do anything halfway and has dedicated much of her free time to improving her photography craft.
